What do I need to do?
To participate in Long Term, Day Ahead and Intraday auctions, you will need to meet the following requirements. If you have any questions about auction requirements, please contact our customer team who will be happy to help.

BritNed Registration
If you want to participate in Long Term, Day Ahead or Intraday auctions, you will need to complete the BritNed Registration process and sign the BritNed Participation Agreement. You will also need to post cash or a letter of credit as collateral to cover your trading activity.

Energy Identification Code (EIC)
A unique identification of the market participants and other entities active within the Energy Internal European Market (IEM). If you already have a Type X EIC, this is all that is required.
