FAQs
What systems does Empire replace?
BritNed currently uses eCAT for our Long Term and Day Ahead auctions, Kingdom for our Intraday auctions and RNP for nominations. Empire will replace these 3 systems for BritNed.
For the avoidance of doubt, eCAT and RNP will only have the BritNed border removed, the systems will continue to operate for other parties that host their borders on these systems.
Why do some of the topic links say 'coming soon'?
We have created the different topic areas to show what we will be covering. As the project continues to develop, new material will be added to the website and we will let customers know that the website has been updated via email.
